Zoho Enters the ERP Market with an AI-Powered Business Management Platform for Large Businesses

Zoho Corporation global technology company based in Chennai, has entered the $63 billion Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software market. Expanding into one of the world’s largest business software segments. The newly launched ERP software helps large businesses manage all their key operations in one place, including accounting, finance, inventory, sales, purchasing, payroll, and employee management. With this move, Zoho is set to compete with global companies such as Oracle and Microsoft.
According to Sivaramakrishnan Eswaran, Zoho’s Global Head of Finance and Operations, explained that many existing ERP systems are expensive, complex, and take a long time to implement. Zoho designed its ERP to be simpler, more affordable, and easier for businesses to adopt without heavy depedant on consultants.
ERP Software features
Zoho’s ERP is built with artificial intelligence from the ground up, making daily business tasks faster and smarter. Users can give voice commands, receive future forecasts, and quickly identify errors in data. The platform also connects directly with banks, allowing businesses to manage payments, collections, taxes, and government compliance without the need for extra software. Financial activities such as billing, budgeting, asset management, and supply chain operations are all handled on a single platform, with full support for GST and e-invoicing.

Facilities available in ERP Software
The Zoho ERP software follows international accounting standards, helping companies record revenue correctly and stay compliant with global standards. It also features revenue recognition capabilities as per IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards, simplifying compliance and accurate revenue reporting. Its payroll system is specially designed for Indian businesses and automatically takes care of rules relates to Employee Provident Fund (EPF), Employee State Insurance (ESI), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), Professional Tax, and other legal requirements.
Company’s Future plan
Zoho co-founder and chief scientist Sridhar Vembu said along with building this product. Zoho is also creating jobs in India, with a large team working from Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu. Currently, they have about 200 employees in the company and plan to expand their offices and hire more local talent as the product grows world.
